Charles
Casha is an author of books for children in Maltese. He has been
writing for the past 40 years and his first book for children was
published in 1971.
His 46
publications consist of short stories, novels, and plays
as well as text-books on the teaching of the Maltese language. He
has also published five novels and four books of short stories for
adults.
His book Il-Klabb
- L-Ghaxar Anniversarju, a novel for teens won the National
Literary Award for Children's Literature in 1998; and in 2001 he
was again awarded the title for his book Gummienu.
